The worst experience I have ever had at a store. I thought I was dealing with a Verizon wireless store but that was not the case. When my phone began giving me problems after just one week the manager and sales associates were completely unhelpful and stopped returning my calls. Being in the military I like to use stores I am familiar with like Verizon and I will be more cautious in the future with knockoff retailers like the wireless shop. Don't go here...drive down to Palm Springs and see a corporate store because these guys are terrible. I must update with recent events. So, after mailing my phone back to the store I noticed on my account a day later there was a charge from the shop for $499.99. After talking to Victor the Manager/Owner/Billing Dept Head, he stated the phone arrived damaged and he had to charge me full retail for the phone. I stated that 1. I had already paid $180 so why did he charge me full retail 2. You did so without my authorization and 3. I have insurance on the phone therefore I can get it replaced for only a $100 deductable. He stated that he deals with this all the time and this is how business is done in accordance with the contract that I signed. I asked for pictures of the phone and to have it returned to me. He said he couldn't produce the phone because Rashad had taken it with him and it was his day off. What!? Then he said Rashad was working at another store and he had the phone. Then he said Rashad had taken it to a corporate Verizon store to show them proof of the damages (this never occurred and was not documented by any Verizon associate). Over the period of two days this conversation goes round and round and his story is a constantly changing from phone call to phone call. As of this posting I have the damaged phone but he refuses to return my $499.99 so I have basically paid $680.00 for a broken phone. Verizon is talking to Victor on my behalf so we shall see how this works out. Don't go to this store!
